Troubleshooting

Fixes for common problems in Noetix. Website pages that won't read, agents that need to sign in again, answers that come back empty, and stopped builds.

Signing in

"You're on the early access list." Your workspace is waiting to be let in. Press Check again later, or sign in again; the app opens as soon as it is approved.

"Verify your email." Open the email Noetix sent you and confirm your address, then sign in again.

Your website

Some pages couldn't be read. Those pages need JavaScript to show their text, or ask for a login. Noetix reads pages without running scripts, the way a search engine does. Pick other pages, or add the same content as files.

The site can't be read at all. Noetix says why: the address is wrong, the site didn't answer, or it points somewhere that isn't the public internet. Check the address opens in a browser, then try again.

I want to read a different site. A workspace reads one website. Disconnect the current one on Connectors › Website, then add the new one.

Agents

The agent says it isn't signed in. Sign in again from the agent:

  • Claude Code: run /mcp, choose noetix, and sign in.
  • Codex: run codex mcp login noetix.
  • OpenClaw and Hermes: run their mcp login noetix command.

If you disconnected the agent in Settings › MCP Server, it asks you to approve it again.

The agent doesn't find something you just added. New files and pages take a minute or two to build. The Activity tab on the Brain page shows each build and what it read.

Answers

"The brain doesn't know." Nothing in your brain covers the question. Add a page that answers it; the question is already on Knowledge gaps, so you can close it with that page.

An answer looks wrong. Open its sources to see what it was given. If a source is out of date, edit the page (every version is kept). If the brain holds two answers, you get both with their dates.

Building

A build stopped. The usual reason is that the early access allowance ran out. Add your own key in Settings › AI provider, and what was left is built. See AI and usage.

Sources

A source says Needs attention. Noetix couldn't read it several times in a row, often because access was removed in that tool. Reconnect it on Connectors, then switch checking back on.

A Slack channel doesn't appear. Only channels the Noetix bot was invited to appear. Run /invite in that Slack channel.
