Agents and the API
Connect your agents
Add Noetix to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, Claude Desktop or any MCP client, so your agents answer from your company's knowledge.
Noetix is an MCP server. Any agent that speaks MCP can connect to it and read your company's brain: search it, read its pages, follow your written procedures, and write back what it learns.
Every agent uses the same address:
https://mcp.noetix.dev/mcpHow signing in works
There is no key to copy. The first time an agent connects, it opens the Noetix sign-in in your browser and asks you to approve it. After that, the agent works as you: it sees your workspace's brain and nothing else.
Every agent uses the same address. Who you are comes from signing in, never from the address, so it's safe to share the address with your team.
To see the agents you approved, or to disconnect one, open Settings › MCP Server in Noetix.
Set up your agent
Pick your agent. Your choice is remembered next time.

}What your agent can do
Your brain
Read and write memory directly. No agent, no LLM in the path.
- recall
- search the brain and get back what it knows
- find_sources
- find which documents and notes back an answer
- brain_status
- what's in the brain, and which sources feed it
- brain_map
- every topic the brain covers, one line each
- read_topic
- one topic in depth: its pages, decisions and disputes
- check_facts
- test whether the brain already knows something
- catch_up
- what changed recently: pages written or edited, and by whom
- who_knows
- the teammates who wrote what the brain knows about a topic
- flag_gap
- note a question the brain couldn't answer, for the team to fill
- list_gaps
- the questions the brain couldn't answer, most asked first
- close_gap
- mark a gap answered, with the page that answers it
Pages
The documents the brain keeps, edited in place with full history.
- list_pages
- every page by title, most recently changed first
- read_page
- read one of the brain's pages in full
- edit_page
- change a passage of a page, or add to its end (Notes for one-off facts)
- create_page
- start a new page on a topic
- page_history
- who changed a page, when, and why
- restore_page
- roll a page back to a version, or bring back a deleted one
- forget
- remove something from the brain (two-step, confirmed)
Your skills
How your company does things, written down for agents to follow.
- list_skills
- every procedure the company has written down
- search_skills
- find the procedure for the task in front of you
- use_skill
- read one procedure, step by step, and follow it
- draft_skill
- write a procedure down as a draft, for an admin to publish
Writes are kept to what an agent should do on its own: a page edit keeps every earlier
version, so it can always be undone; forget asks for confirmation; and draft_skill
only writes a draft, which an admin publishes.
Every call an agent makes counts toward your workspace's monthly calls, shown in Settings › Usage.
