Gaps and catch-up
Ask your brain what changed, who wrote about a topic, and what it couldn't answer. Knowledge gaps, catch-up, who knows, Activity and Approvals.
Some questions are about what the brain knows rather than in it. Ask them in the chat, in either mode, or from an agent over MCP.
What changed?
Ask "What changed this week?" or "Catch me up since Monday". The answer leads with what the brain now holds differently: facts that were replaced (old and new) and things that contradict each other. Then it lists the pages created or edited, by whom, and the sources that synced. It looks back 7 days unless you say otherwise, up to 90.
Who knows about this?
Ask "Who should I ask about pricing?" You get the people who wrote the pages behind that topic, ranked by how much of it they wrote. It tells you who wrote about it, which is not always who knows most. Synced items have no author, so they are listed as places, such as a Slack channel.
Knowledge gaps
When the brain has nothing on a question, the question goes on the Knowledge gaps list, under Activity in the sidebar. The same question asked again counts again instead of being listed twice, so the most asked come first.
Open a gap to see the question, who asked and how often. Then:
- Write it: add the page that answers it.
- Answered: close it with the page that already answers it.
- Dismiss: close it without an answer.
A gap that was answered opens again if someone asks it again.
Activity
The Activity tab on the Brain page lists what happened, newest first: documents added, page edits, removals, skill changes and each build, with what the build read. When Noetix merges one thing written two ways ("agent runtime" and "agent runtime (agno)"), the merge is listed with Undo.
Approvals
Approvals, under Activity in the sidebar, holds everything waiting for a yes: a removal the assistant asked for, a skill change, or something Slack watching wants to save. Admins decide them.
